I am a visual designer, animator, UI/UX designer living in Geelong, Australia.

With 17 years of experience in the design industry—12 of those at Deakin University Library—I’m a visual designer who thrives on creating meaningful, purpose-driven work. My career has been shaped by a strong belief in the power of design to support learning, by making complex content more accessible and engaging.

I’m passionate about visual UI/UX design, especially when it helps people understand challenging material or supports staff who don’t have a design background but still need to create compelling content. My work spans a wide range of projects, from large screen digital displays and Open Educational Resources (OERs) to design systems, animated videos, and extensive print collateral.

I love collaborating with learning designers, developers, UX and accessibility specialists, and subject matter experts. For me, good design starts with listening to users, refining ideas, and creating something that truly works. Design is always evolving—and that’s what keeps it exciting.
